Who Is In Control Of The U.S. Bond Market

As investors start pulling their money out of bonds, and country like Japan and eventually China start dumping their U.S. treasury holdings, U.S. long term rates will rise.




The 20+ years U.S. treasury bond ETF, TLT have loss more than 19% since it peaked on July 25, 2012. This decline started long before the Fed start talking about tapering. So who do you think have control of the U.S. bond market?



As the bears take hold of the bond market, be very skeptical when you hear those bond managers start talking up the fixed income market to salvage their book and their business. The time is near if not already here for us to pay for Benny's experiment of continuous running the U.S. dollar printing press.
